This online party is an opportunity to connect with our community and enjoy what we love, all while staying physically apart.

On Monday before the event, we'll be dropping off some "lagniappe" – packets of red beans – on front porches around New Orleans, so check your porch in time to soak your beans! Cooking Tip #Quinoa Lima Beans Pulao/ Pilaf
Ingredients:
[ingredient_amount]1 cup[/ingredient_amount] [ingredient_name]Camellia Baby Lima Beans[/ingredient_name], cooked
Heat oil in a kadai/ sauté pan. Add chopped onions and 1/2 tsp salt. Sauté until the onions turn transparent. Add the chopped bell peppers and sauté for 2 minutes.
Now add the turmeric powder and the drained lima beans and sauté for 2-4 minutes. Add quinoa. Mix well and sauté for 1-2 minutes or until it all comes together.
Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro leaves.
Serve hot or at room temperature.
